ดร.พจน์ อร่ามวัฒนานนท์ ประธานกรรมการหอการค้าไทย สะท้อนมุมมองในหัวข้อ “ความท้าทายเศรษฐกิจไทยกับปี 2569” ว่าไทยกำลังเผชิญกับภาวะ Perfect Storm ทั้งจากความขัดแย้งทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ และการถูกดิสรัปด้วยเทคโนโลยี โดยมีวิกฤตเร่งด่วน ได้แก่ปัญหาหนี้ครัวเรือนสูง ความเหลื่อมล้ำ และเศรษฐกิจนอกระบบขนาดใหญ่ เป็นปัจจัยฉุดรั้งขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน โดยมีข้อเสนอแนะให้ภาครัฐต้องทำงานเชิงรุก มีความโปร่งใส ปราศจากคอร์รัปชัน พร้อมตัดสินใจบนฐานข้อมูลความจริงเพื่อร่วมแก้ปัญหากับภาคเอกชนอย่างรวดเร็ว “ประเทศไทยจำเป็นต้องเร่งปรับโครงสร้างเศรษฐกิจให้มีความเข้มแข็งและทันต่อบริบทการแข่งขันในปัจจุบัน ควบคู่กับการแก้ไขปัญหาเชิงโครงสร้างที่เป็นอุปสรรคต่อการขยายตัวทางเศรษฐกิจ เน้นประชานิยมโดยเอาเงินไปสร้างงาน และการสร้างระบบเศรษฐกิจที่เอื้อต่อการแข่งขันอย่างเป็นธรรม พร้อมเดินหน้าจัดการปัญหาทุนสีเทา การทุจริตคอร์รัปชัน และกิจกรรมทางเศรษฐกิจที่บิดเบือนกลไกตลาด ซึ่งล้วนส่งผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อความเชื่อมั่นของนักลงทุนและภาคธุรกิจ”
