4 ตุลาคมนี้ ณ Bangkok 1899 นางสาวสภาวรรณ พลบุตร ผู้ประสานงานกลุ่มNeo-Baannok เปิดเผย วันนี้เกี่ยวกับการขับเคลื่อนโปรเจคเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อมว่า สถานการณ์การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ(Climate Change)แบบสุดขั้วได้ส่งผลกระทบอย่างกว้างขวางต่อทุกประเทศรวมทั้งประเทศไทยโดยเฉพาะคำกล่าวของนายอันโตนิโอ กูเตร์เรส เลขาธิการสหประชาชาติที่กล่าวว่า"ยุคของการโลกร้อนได้สิ้นสุดลงแล้ว และยุคของโลกเดือดได้เริ่มต้นขึ้น"
นอกจากนี้
นายชูตงหยู (Qu Dongyu) ผู้อำนวยการ FAO (องค์การอาหารและเกษตรแห่งสหประชาชาติ)
ได้กล่าวเตือนอย่างชัดเจนว่า "ความเปลี่ยนแปลงของสภาพภูมิอากาศเป็น
ตัวขับเคลื่อนความอดอยากที่สำคัญที่สุด ในปัจจุบัน"
วิกฤตสภาพภูมิอากาศกำลังทำลายผลผลิตทางการเกษตรและแหล่งน้ำ
ทำให้ความมั่นคงทางอาหารของโลกและไทยตกอยู่ในความเสี่ยง
ต้นทุนความเสียหายทางเศรษฐกิจจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศทั่วโลกพุ่งสูงถึง
หลายแสนล้านเหรียญสหรัฐต่อปี คำกล่าวของเลขาธิการสหประชาชาติและผู้อำนวยการ
องค์การอาหารและเกษตรแห่งสหประชาชาติเป็นเครื่องย้ำเตือนถึงภัยคุกคามที่เร่งด่วนที่สุด
จึงเป็นเวลาที่ประเทศไทยต้องรวมพลังทุกภาคส่วนร่วมกันรับมือกับภัยพิบัตินี้ ทั้งนี้การจะให้ผู้คนจำนวนมากลุกยืนขึ้นเพื่อสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงแก้ไขปัญหาวิกฤติสภาพภูมิอากาศไม่ได้อาศัยเพียง
‘การรับรู้’ แต่ต้องมี ‘ความรู้สึกร่วม“และการร่วมคิดร่วมทำ
“Neo-baannok” คือกลุ่มคนเจนใหม่ที่เห็นความสำคัญของเรื่องหัวใจในการขับเคลื่อนเรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อม
จัดตั้งขึ้นมาเพื่อจะรวมศิลปิน นักขับเคลื่อน นักสิ่งแวดล้อมให้มาร่วมกันใช้ศิลปะสร้างสรรค์ของตัวเองในการสร้างความตระหนักรู้เรื่องวิกฤตสภาพภูมิอากาศ
และในงาน Climate Playground: Connect Creatives for Climate Action นี้สะท้อนถึงวิสัยทัศน์ดังกล่าว
Climate Playground
เป็นกิจกรรมเปิดพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์เพื่อแสดงออกว่าทุกคนสามารถมีส่วนร่วมในประเด็นสิ่งแวดล้อม
มันไม่ใช่แค่เรื่องที่ตึงเครียดเท่านั้น
แต่การพูดคุยและการขับเคลื่อนสามารถเป็นไปได้อย่างร้อนแรง สนุกสนาน และเข้าถึงง่าย
ในงานมีกิจกรรมเช่นตลาดแฮนด์คราฟต์ การแสดงงานศิลปะจากวัสดุเหลือใช้
ที่นำมาสร้างงานแสดงผสานกับเสียงเยาวชนทั่วประเทศโดยอาศัยความร่วมมือจาก Children
Youth and the Environment Survey (CYES) มีงานแสดงดนตรีสดทั้งจากดีเจและวงดนตรีที่ยึดถือคุณค่าเรื่องความยั่งยืน
และกิจกรรม Speed Connecting ที่เปิดให้คนทำงานหลากหลายสายได้สร้างเครือข่ายกันเพื่อต่อยอดไปถึงการขับเคลื่อนและทำโปรเจ็กต์เพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อมร่วมกันในอนาคต

On October 4,
1899, Ms. Sasanawan Polbutr, Neo-Baannok Group Coordinator,
revealed today that the extreme climate change has affected all countries,
including Thailand, especially Mr. Antonio Guterres. The U.N. Secretary-General said, "The
era of global warming has ended and the era of global warming has begun."
In addition, the FAO (United Nations Food and
Agriculture Organization) Director-General Chu Dongyu clearly warned,
"Climate change is the most important driver of famine today."
The climate crisis is destroying agricultural production and water
supplies, putting global food security at risk. The cost of global climate
change is as high as hundreds of billions of dollars a year. The remarks by the
U.N. Secretary-General and Director of the Food and Agriculture Organization
are a reminder of the most urgent threat.
It is now time for Thailand to join forces in dealing with the disaster.
To get more people to stand up for change and solve the climate crisis, not
just 'awareness', but 'common feeling' and collaboration.
Neo-baannok is a group of new Jane people
who see the importance of the heart in driving the environment. It was
established to combine artists, drivers, environmentalists to use their
creative arts to raise awareness of the climate crisis and at Climate Playground:
Connect Creatives for Climate Action.
Climate Playground
is an activity that opens up creative space to show that everyone can
participate in environmental issues. It's not only stressful but hot, fun and
easy-to-access talk and drive. Activities such as the Handcraft Market,
exhibition of art from waste materials.
The event was co-hosted by Children Youth and the Environment Survey
(CYES), featuring live music from DJs and bands who value sustainability, and
Speed Connecting activities that allow people to work in various lines to build
networks to drive and project the environment together in the future.
