กล่าวถึงกรณีการจับกุม "แป้ง นาโหนด" หรือ นายเชาวลิต ทองด้วง
ผู้ต้องหาในคดีหลบหนีออกจากโรงพยาบาลมหาราชนครศรีธรรมราช
ระหว่างเข้ารับการรักษาตัว สืบเนื่องจากที่นายเศรษฐา ทวีสิน นายกรัฐมนตรี
ได้สั่งการให้กระทรวงยุติธรรม สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ และ
กระทรวงการต่างประเทศติดตามอย่างใกล้ชิด
ที่ผ่านมานายกรัฐมนตรี
ได้ให้ตนเดินทางไปยังประเทศอินโดนีเซีย เพื่อประสานกับทางการ
พร้อมกับมีการคาดการณ์ของสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ ซึ่งกระทรวงยุติธรรม
โดยกรมราชทัณฑ์ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการป้องกันและปราบปรามยาเสพติด (ป.ป.ส.)
อธิบดีกรมสอบสวนคดีพิเศษ (DSI) ที่ปรึกษานายกรัฐมนตรี พล.อ.นิพัทธ์ ทองเล็ก
ที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญทางด้านการต่างประเทศ เนื่องจากแป้ง นาโหนด หนีออกจากประเทศไทย และปลอมพาสปอร์ต
เป็นคนจังหวัดอาเจะห์ และไปอยู่ในอินโดนีเซีย ซึ่งอยู่อย่างระมัดระวังตัว
ส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในเมือง Kabupaten Badung เกาะบาหลี รวมถึงในอีกหลายๆ
เมือง ซึ่งทางรัฐบาลอินโดนีเซีย โดยเฉพาะตำรวจก็ได้ให้ความร่วมมือเป็นอย่างดี
จนในช่วงเช้าที่ผ่านมาสามารถจับกุมได้
หลังจากได้ตัวก็คาดว่าน่าจะได้เครือข่ายสำคัญเกี่ยวกับคดียาเสพติด
พ.ต.อ.ทวี ยืนยันว่า
ที่ผ่านมาทางการไทยได้ตามตัว แป้ง นาโหนด มาโดยตลอด ส่วนรายละเอียดการหลบหนี
ขอให้ได้ตัว แป้ง นาโหนด จะได้รู้ข้อมูลที่มากกว่านี้ ต้องยอมรับว่าหลังจากตำรวจภูธรภาค
9 คว้าน้ำเหลวในการจับกุม ก็ได้มีการติดตามตัวมาโดยตลอด และยอมรับว่า แป้ง นาโหนด
เป็นมืออาชีพ แม้แต่ตำรวจอินโดนีเซีย ก็บอกว่านี่คือมืออาชีพ"
ส่วนตอนที่ไปจับกุม พบว่ามีเซฟเฮาส์หรือไม่ พ.ต.อ.ทวี ระบุว่า
เขาเพิ่งบินไปเที่ยวบาหลี แต่ปกติพักอยู่ที่เมดัน เนื่องจากมีคอนโดใหญ่อยู่ที่นั่น
การนำตัวกลับไทยจะต้องเป็นไปตามขั้นตอนกฎหมายของอินโดนีเซีย
จากการสืบสวนมีคนให้ความช่วยเหลือ แป้ง นาโหนด ในการหลบหนีออกนอกประเทศหรือไม่ เรื่องนี้ขอให้รอการสืบสวนสอบสวน
แต่พบว่า มีคนบินจากไทยไปหา แป้ง นาโหนด ที่อินโดนีเซีย ส่วนใหญ่เป็นผู้หญิง ส่วนจะเป็นคนในครอบครัวหรือไม่
ขอให้รอการตรวจสอบ เพราะการสืบสวนของเจ้าหน้าที่ไม่ได้โยงมาจากครอบครัว
แต่โยงมาจากคนอินโดนีเซียที่ถูกจับเป็นเรียกค่าไถ่ เมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้
แต่จะมีความเกี่ยวข้องกันอย่างไรต้องรอให้เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจสืบสวน และต้องขอบคุณตำรวจที่จะไม่ปล่อย
มีการฝังตัวตลอด จนนำจากเรื่องเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ
ไปสู่การตรวจสอบการเดินทางว่าทำไมถึงเดินทางไปที่เมดัน" พ.ต.อ.ทวี กล่าว
ช่วงเที่ยงที่ผ่านมา
เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจของไทย ได้ทำการโฟนอินสอบปากคำ แป้ง นาโหนด ก่อนจะได้รับการยืนยันว่าเป็นเสี่ยแป้งตัวจริง
ซึ่งการจับกุมครั้งนี้
อาจจะนำมาซึ่งเบาะแสเกี่ยวกับเครือข่ายองค์กรอาชญากรรมที่พัวพันกับยาเสพติดด้วย จากการพูดคุยกับ แป้ง นาโหนด
ยอมรับว่าจนมุมแล้ว ซึ่งทางไทยได้ขอให้เข้าสู่กระบวนการยุติธรรม
และจะรับรองเรื่องความปลอดภัย อีกทั้งเสี่ยแป้ง นาโหนด
ไม่เคยเตรียมตัวว่าจะถูกจับกุมได้ เพราะคงคิดว่าเป็นช่วงที่ปลอดภัยที่สุด
จึงไปเที่ยว หากคิดว่าไม่ปลอดภัยก็จะอยู่แต่ในห้อง
นอกจากนี้เจ้าหน้าที่จะสืบสวนหาเส้นทางการเงินที่ส่งไปให้ผู้ต้องหารายนี้ต่อไป
การสืบสวนจากนี้
จะตรวจสอบว่าเสี่ยแป้ง นาโหนด ซึ่งปกติพักอยู่ที่เมดาน เนื่องจากมีคอนโดใหญ่อยู่ที่นั่น ซึ่งมีรายงานว่าก่อนถูกจับกุม แป้ง นาโหนด
ไปเที่ยวบาหลีและทะเลาะกับผู้หญิงชาวอินโด จึงเป็นที่มาของการจับกุม
