เข้าพบที่ตึกไทยคู่ฟ้า เพื่อเคลียร์ใจปัญหาความขัดแย้งของทั้ง 2 ฝ่ายที่เกิดขึ้น
ได้เดินทางมาถึงทำเนียบรัฐบาล เพื่อเข้าพบกับนายกรัฐมนตรี
ซึ่งใช้เวลาพูดคุยกันประมาณ 10 นาที จากนั้นจึงเดินทางออกจากทำเนียบรัฐบาล
เพื่อไปแถลงข่าวพร้อมกันที่สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ (สตช.)
นายเศรษฐา ทวีสิน นายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง
ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการข้าราชการตำรวจ (ก.ตร.) ได้ลงนามในคำสั่งสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี
จำนวน 3 ฉบับ ฉบับแรก ให้มาช่วยราชการสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรีเป็นระยะเวลา 60 วัน
มีผลทันที ฉบับที่สอง แต่งตั้ง พล.ต.อ.กิตติ์รัฐ พันธุ์เพชร รองผบ. ตร.
รักษาการแทนผบ.ตร. และฉบับที่สาม แต่งตั้งคณะกรรมการตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริง ประกอบด้วย
อดีตรอง ผบ.ตร. อดีตปลัดกระทรวงมหาดไทยเก่า และอดีตรองอัยการสูงสุด “เพื่อให้กระบวนการยุติธรรมดำเนินไปได้ด้วยความเป็นธรรม
ไม่มีการแทรกแซง ท่านทั้งสองยังเป็นผู้บริสุทธิ์อยู่
เพื่อให้การบริหารราชการแผ่นดินเป็นไปด้วยความสะดวกและดูแลพี่น้องประชาชนได้อย่างเต็มที่
ไม่มีการก้าวก่ายกระบวนการยุติธรรม จึงขอโอนมาช่วยราชการสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี
เป็นเวลาชั่วคราว เพื่อตั้งคณะกรรมการขึ้นมาตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริง
ยืนยันว่าไม่ได้เป็นการลงโทษ เงินเดือน ทุกอย่างยังเหมือนเดิม
บรรยากาศภายหลังจากที่นายเศรษฐา

พล.ต.อ.ต่อศักดิ์ สุขวิมล ผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติ (ผบ.ตร.) และ พล.ต.อ.สุรเชษฐ์
หักพาล รอง ผบ.ตร. มาปฏิบัติหน้าที่ช่วยราชการสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เป็นเวลา 60 วัน ล่าสุดเมื่อเวลา 9.40 น.
พล.ต.อ.ต่อศักดิ์ได้เดินทางเข้ามาที่ สำนักงานสำนักปลัดนายกรัฐมนตรี (สปน.)
เพื่อรายงานตัวกับนายธีระพงษ์ วงศ์ศิวะวิลาส ปลัดสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี
โดยใช้ทางเข้าอีกอาคาร และเดินขึ้นบันไดชั้น 2
มาที่หน้าห้องปลัดสำนักนายกฯ จากนั้นไม่นาน พล.ต.อ.สุรเชษฐ์ เดินทางมาที่
สปน.ในเวลา 09.55 เพื่อรายงานตัวเช่น
ด้วยสีหน้ายิ้มแย้ม แต่สังเกตได้ว่า ตาทั้งสองข้างแดงบวมไม่เท่ากัน โดยทั้งสองคนใช้เวลารายงานตัวนานกว่า
50 นาที โดย พล.ต.อ.ต่อศักดิ์ ให้สัมภาษณ์ว่า
ได้รับมอบหมายให้ดูงานจิตอาสา ซึ่งทำอยู่แล้ว
รวมถึงให้คำปรึกษาเรื่องการดูแลการชุมนุมต่างๆ เนื่องจากเราเป็น ผบ.ตร.มา
โดยจะเดินทางเข้ามาทำงานทุกวัน แต่ยังคงต้องเข้าเวรราชองครักษ์อยู่

กล่าวว่า “วันนี้พี่ถอดหัวโขนอยู่แค่ตำแหน่ง
ผบ.ตร. หัวโขนในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ เราก็ถอดออก พี่มานั่งที่นี่ ก็ใส่หัวโขนที่นี่
โรงละครของเราเลิกแล้วก็เก็บฉาก เก็บเครื่องแต่งตัว ปิดไฟ หอบเสื่อกลับบ้านเรา
ก็เท่านั่น ชีวิตเรามีเท่านี้ คุณจะมาเครียดอะไร มาเร็วก็ต้องจากกัน
ผมไม่เครียดหรอก ยืนยันไม่ช็อกเพราะรู้ล่วงหน้ามาก่อนแล้ว
รู้ก่อนที่นายกฯจะเรียกเข้าพบด้วย รู้ส่วนตัวอยู่แล้ว"
จากนั้นเวลา 09.56 น. พล.ต.อ.สุรเชษฐ์ให้สัมภาษณ์ว่า
คุ้นเคยกับสำนักปลัดสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี รู้ห้องทั้งหมด เหมือนกลับบ้านเก่า
เพราะเคยอยู่ที่นี่มาสองปีก่อนหน้านี้ การมาครั้งนี้ไม่กดดัน
ทราบว่าเขาเตรียมห้องทำงานไว้ให้แล้ว มีงานอะไรเราก็ทำ ไม่ได้กังวล
เราเป็นข้าราชการ ได้รับมอบหมายอะไรให้ทำ เราก็ต้องทำ และทำให้ดีที่สุด เมื่อถามว่า
มองความขัดแย้งที่เกิดขึ้นครั้งนี้รุนแรงกว่าที่เคยเกิดขึ้นหรือไม่
พล.ต.อ.สุรเชษฐ์ กล่าวว่า ทุกอย่างต้องจบ เมื่อวันที่ 20 มี.ค.ก็คุยกันแล้ว ทุกอย่างต้องเรียบร้อย องค์กรต้องอยู่

ได้เดินข้ามจากฝั่งทำเนียบฯ เพื่อไปดูห้องทำงานที่ชั้น 4 ภายในห้องศูนย์ประสานงานจิตอาสาภาครัฐ ที่สำนักงาน ก.พ.เดิม
ถนนพิษณุโลก โดย พล.ต.อ.ต่อศักดิ์ กล่าวติดตลกว่า “นี่เรายิ่งกว่าดาราอีกนะ
วันนี้มาดูห้องทำงาน จะเข้ามานั่งทำงาน” ผู้สื่อข่าวจึงถามต่อว่า
