เตรียมเข้าร่วมการประชุม World Economic Forum (WEF) ระหว่างวันที่
15-19 มกราคม 2567 ณ สมาพันธรัฐสวิส โดยการ
ประชุม WEF Annual Meeting ประจำปี 2567 เป็นครั้งที่ 54 จะจัดขึ้น ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Rebuilding
Trust” เน้นการฟื้นฟูความเชื่อมั่นต่ออนาคต
ความไว้เนื้อเชื่อใจในสังคม และระหว่างประเทศต่าง ๆ
เพื่อรับมือกับความท้าทายของโลกปัจจุบัน การประชุมประจำปีของ WEF เป็นเวทีที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะและมีความพิเศษ
มีผู้เข้าร่วมทั้งที่เป็นประมุขและผู้นำรัฐบาล หัวหน้าองค์การระหว่างประเทศ
ผู้บริหารภาคธุรกิจ (CEOs) นักวิชาการ ตลอดจนผู้มีอิทธิพลทางความคิดระดับโลก ประมาณ 2,500 คนจากทั่วโลก ซึ่งการเข้าร่วม
WEF ของนายกรัฐมนตรีครั้งนี้
นับเป็นการเข้าร่วมระดับผู้นำของไทยในรอบ 12 ปี นับตั้งแต่ปี
2555 ในสมัยนายกรัฐมนตรียิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร
และเป็นการเยือนภูมิภาคยุโรปครั้งแรกของนายกรัฐมนตรีนับตั้งแต่เข้ารับตำแหน่ง
จึงเป็นโอกาสสำคัญที่จะตอกย้ำความพร้อมของไทยในการร่วมขับเคลื่อนประเด็นสำคัญของโลก
และใช้โอกาสนี้พบปะหารือกับผู้นำทั้งภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนจากทั่วโลก โดยการประชุมปีนี้จะจัดขึ้นภายใต้หัวข้อ
“ฟื้นฟูความเชื่อมั่น” ประกอบด้วย 4 ประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่
(1) การบรรลุความร่วมมือและความมั่นคงในโลกที่แตกแยก
(2) การสร้างการเติบโตและสร้างงานสำหรับยุคใหม่
(3) ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ในฐานะพลังขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจและสังคม
(4) ยุทธศาสตร์ระยะยาวสำหรับสภาพภูมิอากาศ
ธรรมชาติ และพลังงาน
นอกจากนี้นายกรัฐมนตรียังมีกำหนดการพบปะภาคเอกชนสำคัญ
อาทิ ผู้บริหารบริษัทด้านเทคโนโลยี และ Solutions บริษัทท่าเรือ
logistics บริษัทด้านการเงิน การธนาคาร บริษัทด้านโทรคมนาคม
บริษัทด้านยาและวัคซีน บริษัทด้านอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม บริษัทด้านธุรกิจ Delivery
และพบปะบุคคลสำคัญ อาทิ นายมาทีอัส คอร์มันน์ (Mathias
Cormann) เลขาธิการองค์การเพื่อความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและการพัฒนา
หรือ OECD นาย Klaus Schwab ผู้ก่อตั้งและประธานบริหาร
WEF และ ผู้บริหารของ World Bank ด้วย และในโอกาสนี้
นายกรัฐมนตรีจะร่วมประชุม WEF ในครั้งนี้
เพื่อผลักดันบทบาทของไทยในการเสริมสร้างความไว้เนื้อเชื่อใจ และความร่วมมือในโลก
การส่งเสริมการค้าการลงทุนและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจที่ยั่งยืน
โดยเฉพาะเรื่องการเปลี่ยนผ่านพลังงาน รวมถึงการส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรม EVs อุตสาหกรรมเกษตรและอาหารที่ยั่งยืน เศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล
ตลอดจนการส่งเสริมความเชื่อมโยงผ่านโครงการ Landbridge ให้แก่ผู้นำและผู้แทนระดับสูงจากภาครัฐ
ภาคเอกชน ภาคประชาสังคม วิชาการ และสื่อชั้นนำต่าง ๆ ที่เข้าร่วม
เพื่อนำผลประโยชน์ที่เป็นรูปธรรมกลับมาให้พี่น้องชาวไทย

Mr. Setha Thaweesin, the Prime Minister and Finance
Minister, plans to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) from 15-19 January 2017 at the Swiss
Confederation. The 54th WEF Annual Meeting will be held under the theme "Rebuilding
Trust" focusing on restoring confidence in the future. Social and
international confidence to meet the challenges of today's world. The annual
WEF conference is a unique and special forum attended by heads of state, heads
of international organizations, business executives, academics and
world-renowned thinkers.500 people from all over the world. This WEF is Thailand's leading WEF
in 12
years since 2012
when Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra visited Europe for the first time since
his inauguration. This year's conference will be held under the theme
"Restoring Confidence" consisting of four main issues:
(1) Achieving Cooperation and Security
in a Divided World
(2) Creating growth and creating jobs
for a new era.
(3) Artificial intelligence as a driving
force for the economy and society.
(4) Long-term strategies for climate,
nature and energy
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva will also
meet with key private sectors such as technology and solutions, port logistics,
finance, banking, telecommunications, pharmaceutical and vaccine companies,
food and beverage companies and businesses such as Matias. Mathias Cormann,
Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development
(OECD), Mr. Klaus Schwab, WEF founder and CEO, and World Bank executives will
also attend the WEF meeting to push Thailand's role in building trust and
cooperation in the world. Promoting trade, investment and sustainable economic
growth, especially energy transformation, EVs, sustainable agricultural and
food industries, digital economy and connectivity through Landbridge programs
for leaders of government, private sector, civil society and leading media. In
order to bring back tangible benefits for Thai brothers and sisters.
